Günther Förg lived and worked in Switzerland (d. 2013). He was recently the subject of a retrospective at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (2018), which travelled to the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas (2019). His work is in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art, New York; Tate Collection, London; and Hamburger Bahnhof – Museum für Gegenwart, Berlin, among many others.
