Günther Förg lived and worked in Switzerland (1952 – 2013). He was recently the subject of a retrospective at the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (2018), which travelled to the Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas (2019). His work is in the collections of Museum of Modern Art, New York; Tate Collection, London; and Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum für Gegenwart, Berlin; among many others.
