Greene Naftali is pleased to announce New Work, a solo exhibition by Michael Krebber. This will be the artist's eighth show at the gallery and his first to feature paintings in oil.

Born in Cologne in 1954, Krebber lives and works in New York. His solo exhibition titled Studio Floor and Diamond Paintings is currently on view at the Fondazione Antonio Dalle Nogare, Bolzano through January 8, 2022. Recent solo and two-person presentations include Reena Spaulings Fine Art, Los Angeles (2020); Museum Brandhorst, Munich (2019, with Rebecca Quaytman); Galerie Buchholz, Berlin (2019); Greene Naftali, New York (2018, 2015, and 2011); Kunsthalle Bern (2017); dépendence, Brussels (2017); Galerie Chantal Crousel, Paris (2017); Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art, Porto (2016); Museum Ludwig, Cologne (2015); and CAPC Musée d’art Contemporain, Bordeaux (2012).

His work is in the collections of The Museum of Modern Art, New York; Centre Pompidou, Paris; CAPC Musée d'art Contemporain, Bordeaux; Hamburger Bahnhof - Museum of Contemporary Art, Berlin; Museum Ludwig, Cologne; and Museum Brandhorst, Munich, among others. He was awarded the Wolfgang Hahn Prize by the Museum Ludwig, Cologne, in 2015.
