Greene Naftali Gallery will present for the first time a group exhibition of gallery artists and will include painting, video, sculpture, photography, and conceptual art. This exhibition presents a brief overview of the gallery’s history and artistic point of view. The gallery was started in the spring of 1995 and was the first gallery in the Chelsea district beyond 22nd Street. Committed to the exhibition of contemporary art, there is a focus on emerging artists and the gallery is known for exhibiting young artists for the first time in New York in its ambitious group exhibitions and solo shows.

These artists have been exhibited in public institutions throughout the United States and Europe including the Museum of Modern Art New York, Museum of Modern Art San Francisco, P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center, The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Museo del Bario New York, Carnegie Museum of Art, Thread Waxing Space, The Pompidou Center, Ludwig Museum, Haus der Kunst München, Kunstverein Frankfurt, Museum Wolfsburg, SMAK, Van Abbemuseum, Migros Museum, Rooseum, Moderna Museet, and The Museum of Modern Art Toyama.
