First monographic volume dedicated to Trisha Baga (1985), the book is conceived as a Sci-Fi narration that expands the personal universe of the artist, one of the major American filmmakers of her generation. The catalog brings together scientific, literary, and artistic references of Trisha Baga interwoven with several critical contributions by: Lucia Aspesi and Fiammetta Griccioli, curators of the show; Pavel Pyś, critic and curator; and Elisabeth Sherman, writer and curator; together with a visual essay made in collaboration between the curator Herb Tam and Trisha Baga, and a conversation of the latter with the artist Lucy Raven. Furthermore, the volume contains a wide photographic documentation of the exhibition at Pirelli HangarBicocca together with the artist’s complete filmography from 2007 up to today.
