Richard Hawkins will participate in the Butoh Symposium at Kingston University, taking part in a conversation exploring the history and contemporary legacy of Japanese Butoh. The two-day symposium, organized by Kingston University’s Visual Cultures Research Centre, brings together artists, researchers, and scholars for presentations, conversations, and screenings examining Butoh’s intersections with visual culture, performance, film, photography, and archives.
