On the occasion of their exhibition openings, join a conversation between artists Jacqueline Humphries and Glenn Ligon, moderated by Daniel Merritt, Chief Curator, Aspen Art Museum.

Their dialogue will expand upon formal and thematic overlaps in their respective practices, including: the prominent role of text and language across their works, the ways in which both artists negotiate and trouble the concept of artwork as a means of communication, and their approaches to abstraction.
