Guild Hall, East Hampton
158 Main Street

Sunday, August 3
6 – 7 PM

JACQUELINE HUMPHRIES and Stanley Whitney will engage in a spirited discussion on the work and legacy of fellow painter Mary Heilmann. In dialogue with Laura Phipps, curator of Heilmann's current exhibition at the Whitney Museum (through January 19), they will explore Heilmann's singular approach to color and form and her lasting influence on generations of artists. The conversation is moderated by Melanie Crader of Guild Hall, where Heilmann has a concurrent solo exhibition underway (through October 26).
