JANA EULER in Capturing the Moment at Tate Modern
June 13, 2023–April 28, 2024

Tate Modern, London

The arrival of photography changed the course of painting forever. In this unique exhibition, Tate explores the dynamic relationship between the two mediums through some of the most iconic artworks of recent times. In an open-ended conversation between some of the greatest painters and photographers of the modern era, the exhibition examines how the brush and the lens have been used to capture moments in time.

Curated by Gregor Muir, Director of Collection, International Art, Tate; and Beatriz García-Velasco, Assistant Curator, International Art, Tate Modern.
