BERNADETTE CORPORATION in

Sentient Earth

On view through February 14, 2027

Amant, Brooklyn
932 Grand St., Brooklyn, NY 11211

From Amant:
"Sentient Earth brings together works by twenty-eight international artists contending with the ways extractive technologies shape lived environments and shifting perceptions of the planet. Responding to historical trajectories of mining, these narratives extend into the political and ecological imperatives of today’s financial and algorithmic systems."

The exhibition features Bernadette Corporation's 2010 video installation, The Earth's Tarry Dreams of Insurrection Against the Sun, comprised of two upended flatscreens displaying "Spillcam" footage from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, which BP made public in 2010.

The exhibition will tour to The Power Plant Contemporary Art Gallery in Toronto where it will be on view from April 23 to September 6, 2027.
